Grab the popcorn for the 116th Congress of the United States.
The ending note of the 115th Congress incorporates a series of serious issues to be re-reviewed. There are clearly unsettled matters, conflicts of interests, and active investigations into the Clinton Foundation.
The same can rightly be said about the Trump Campaign. There will be some carryover and there will be a renewed call to focus on the factual, instead of the facade. What the media sometimes gets us to do, is to distract ourselves with a mis-truth. The easiest state to be in is one of ignorance, and the mainstream media in its pre-truth embodiment, accomplishes just that.
No matter the direction the news goes from here, there will be news to cover. The functionality of Congress is under scrutiny now more than ever.
