Generally speaking, though common goals do exist among Members of Congress, there is no such thing as a strictly required job roles when it comes to anyone who manages to get elected.
We often see tasks undertaken by Congresspeople which extend the goals of the represented party. Β Politicians who gain enough signatures be on the ballot and are elected by constituents in their District, can join in supporting one of the candidates. Β The path forward becomes obvious eventually, through the course of years, after billions of dollars, and many elections are added to the collective experience. Β
America is an experiment and it’s bubbling over quite a bit right now. Β What’s Β to be left in the test tube come 2020 is going to be anyone’s guess.
